Who do you help?
Our therapists work with individuals, couples, and families of all different identities, diverse ethnicities and cultures from all over the world. Our clientele consists of adults, as well as graduate, undergraduate, and high school students, and children of all ages.
While some have been to therapy before, the vast majority of our clients are first-timers to therapy. Finally, while our clients’ identities vary widely, all of them share something in common: they are people who are at a point that they’re willing to commit and invest in themselves in therapy to change and create something different and transformative in their lives!
What are your rates?
Counseling can be a financial challenge for some. We offer several options to achieve the assistance you need. Our therapists have different hourly rates ranging from $75–$125/session. To be effective, counseling requires a commitment to growth. Investing in yourself will be one of the most important steps you ever do.
While many clients are initially concerned about whether or not they can afford counseling, most find that as their lives and priorities change, new ways of funding therapy appear. Sometimes the results of therapy manifests in needing to consume less to distract from emotional pain. Other times, the results of therapy manifest through new means of income due to increased energy and engagement in life.
Do you Accept insurance?
We do accept insurance. Our providers are “in network” or “preferred providers” for most major health insurance plans. When you make your first appointment we will collect your insurance information, call your insurance company, and do an inquiry regarding your behavioral health coverage.
What can I expect?
At the first session, you can expect to talk about the concern(s) that brought you into counseling and also summarize your background and personal history. You can share on a level that feels comfortable for you. You can also expect to have some brief paperwork to complete.
Each of our counselors has a unique style and approach to therapy. However, we all share an authentic commitment to providing you with an experience in which you feel understood, cared for, and not judged for what you are thinking, feeling, or doing.
Our staff also cares deeply about our clients, and we are diligent to be mindful of the difficulties faced by individuals who are seeking help.
